About

Medical knowledge is dangerously wrong for autistic people and otherwise we often receive poor care. glitter resist is campaigning to correct this.

Medicine is doing science wrong, and autistic people are in the part of medicine that is wrong. This means that medical knowledge that is valid for neurotypicals may not be valid for autistic people leading to our harms and deaths. The four problem areas that I have identified leading to autistic harms and deaths by medicine include the following:

  1. Autistic people have different pathophysiologies to diseases that may affect the brain, either directly or indirectly, leading to different signs, symptoms, and risks.
  2. Medication that is known or suspected to affect the brain, either as treatment or side effect, may have an atypical and/or exaggerated effect or side effect on autistic people
  3. Vitals and blood chemistry that are considered normal and abnormal are different for autistic people. These include (non-exhaustive) minimum and normal BP, body temperature, O2, CO2, blood glucose, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, bicarbonates, and blood pH
  4. Signs and symptoms for diseases otherwise are different for autistic people because of differences in sensory processing.

As the NHS, the Labour government, and South Yorkshire Police have been told about these issues but recklessly do not care then I have written and filed a report at the International Criminal Court alleging that the UK is committing crimes against humanity against autistic people, in the form of medical torture, medical murder, and perhaps medical extermination. Note that whether these are crimes against humanity or not, recklessly harming and killing people are still crimes. These issues also affect other people and are the reasons why medicine cannot explain a host of common diseases.

GLITTER RESIST also campaigns for the rights of autistic people generally including reform of the police and other state organisations that may treat autistic people worse than others.
